Elena Gagievna Isinbayeva was born on 3rd of June 1982 in Volgograd.
She is a candidate of pedagogical Sciences (2010).
Her sports career began in 1987 with rhythmic gymnastics
Later on she was awarded the title of master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics.
After that she started doing pole vault.
She won her first gold medal for her jump to a height of 4.10 meters.           
It was at  the 1999 World youth games.
In 2003, Elena won the European championship, having conquered the mark at the height of 4.65 meters. 
The same year she set a new world record at the height of 4.82 meters.

Елена Гаджиевна Исинбаева родилась 3 июня 1982 года в Волгограде.
Она кандидат педагогических наук (2010).
Ее спортивная карьера началась в 1987 году с занятий художественной гимнастикой 
Позже ей было присвоено звание мастера спорта по художественной гимнастике.
Потом она начала заниматься прыжками с шестом.
Первую золотую медаль она получила за прыжок на высоту 4,10 метра.            Это было на Всемирных юношеских играх в 1999 году.
В 2003 году Елена выиграла чемпионат Европы, покорив отметку на высоте 4,65 метра.
В том же году она установила новый мировой рекорд с результатом 4метра
82 сантиметра.
