Dear Chris, How are you these days? Do you enjoy your school life? I am quite busy these days because I have more schoolwork to do than before, but I still like reading story books in my spare time. I borrowed an English story book from the library last week and the book is great. Although the book contains more than two hundred pages, I still couldfinish the reading within two days. It is so attractive and interesting. Let me introduce the book to you first. The book is called “Anne of the Green Gable”. It is a classical story written by Montgomery. The setting of the book is a small village of Canada and it is the life story of Anne. The language is fluent and the plot is well-planned. The story is full of humour and suspense and stimulates the readers to think. Although the story is written in simple English, the philosophy behind is quite difficult to understand. I strongly recommend this story book to you because I am sure you can learn a lot from the book. Anne is an optimistic and open-minded girl and would never give up when she comes across difficulties.
