My name is Anastasia. I’m fourteen years old. I’m fond of reading. Books take an important place in my life. I was taught to like and take care of books from the childhood. I find out much new, useful and interesting information from books. They teach me to take right decisions and apprehend school subjects better. I can find an answer to any interesting question in books. I get knowledge from them. I like to read books about the Middle Ages and also I like historical and fantastic works. I plunge into another world at once. Also I like scientific stories about animals and plants. The book is a medicine for soul. When I finish reading of a good book I always feel upset because of its fast end. One famous writer said that books are our friends. I completely agree with him. It seems to me that books take an important place in our life and they are necessary for everybody . Перевод Меня зовут Анастасия. Мне 14 лет. Я очень люблю читать. Книги в моей жизни имеют большое значение. Любить и беречь книги родители научили меня с детства. Из книг я узнаю много нового, полезного и интересного. Они учат меня принимать правильные решения и лучше воспринимать школьные предметы. В книгах я могу найти ответ на любой интересующий меня вопрос. Из них я черпаю новые знания. Люблю читать про средневековье, исторические и фантастические произведения. Я сразу окунаюсь в другой мир. Ещё мне нравятся научные рассказы о животных и растениях. Книга – лекарство души. Заканчивая читать хорошую книгу, я всегда жалею, что она так быстро закончилась. Один известный писатель сказал, что книги – это друзья. Я полностью с ним согласна. Мне кажется, что книги играют важную роль в жизни и необходимы каждому человеку.

The life in this country 50 years ago.
On the one hand a 50 year period for the country is not very long but on the other hand great changes have been rapidly taking place in this country since the 70s. What are these changes? First of all I'd like to mention the development of new technologies in modern society, for example wireless connection, appearance of the mobile phones. For people from that time it was fantastic but for all of us its quite an ordinary thing today. Then we can't stand mentioning  the Internet that is a necessary thing almost everywhere nowadays and it's difficult to imagine how people lived, worked and studied without computers at that time.Well, people smoke more than now. They ate less vegetable and fruit. Good news people live longer nowadays than they lived 50 years ago. Bad news the difference between the life of the rich and the poor became much more. To my mind, on the whole the life in this country became more complicated than it was 50 years ago, but more challenging and interesting.
Жизнь в этой стране 50 лет назад.С одной стороны 50-летний период для страны это не очень много, но с другой стороны большие перемены, стремительно происходят в этой стране с 70-х годов. Каковы эти изменения? Прежде всего хотелось бы отметить развитие новых технологий в современном обществе, например, беспроводной связи, появление мобильных телефонов. Для людей того времени это было фантастическим, но для всех нас это вполне обычное дело сегодня. Затем, мы не можем не упоминуть интернет;  это вещь необходимая практически везде в наше время и трудно представить, как люди жили, работали и учились без компьютеров в то время. На мой взгляд, жизнь в этой стране теперь стала более сложной, чем она была 50 лет назад, но более интересной (благодаря новым технологиям).
