Let me introduce myself. My name Vlad and I’m 14 years old. I live in one of the largest and most beautiful cities in the world, in Moscow. My parents are both doctors, and they want to see me as a doctor in the future. We live in a three-bedroom flat on the outskirts of the city. My school is situated within a walking distance from our block of flats, but my parents take a subway to work every day, except weekends and holidays. We have a lovely country house in Podmoskovye. It’s the territory that surrounds Moscow. We usually spend weekends at this place. If we go by car, it takes us about two hours to get there. We all love the surrounding nature at that area. It’s simply wonderful. Our country house is situated next to the lake and the forest. In autumn my parents often pick mushrooms and berries in this forest. I prefer the summer weather. When it’s warm enough, I go swimming in the lake with my friends, who are also there for the weekend. Speaking about the structure of our house, I should mention that it’s a two-storey brick building with many windows and the front door. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There is a kitchen, a dining-room and a living-room downstairs. You can see vast expanses of land behind the house. My parents grow fruit and vegetables there. Each year, we have our own harvest of potatoes, cabbages, apples and pears. When it’s someone’s birthday, my father makes barbeque and we invite our friends and neighbors over. What I especially like about our country house and the area, where it is situated, is the peaceful atmosphere. There is neither city noise nor traffic jam. It’s one of the calmest and most beautiful places in Moscow region
Mary asked to tell Colin that she couldn't come and see him yet, and said that she were very busy in the garden. Martha said that he would become angry, when she told him that. Mary answered that she couldn't stay and Dickon were waiting for her. She said that she hadn't been in the garden that day, and asked to tell Colin to read or look through his books. Martha said, that he had been waiting for her since seven o'clock, and asked Mary if she could come just for a minute. Mary said that she couldn't and didn't want to. She said that she would come to see him in the evening and asked Martha not to look at her in that way.
