1) The historic meeting of the two presidents took place last year. 2) We recently went to the Historical Museum and got great impression. 3) Walter Scott is considered the father of the historical novel. 4) Parliament is a historic building in the central square. 5) People have not forgotten the historic battle for Berlin. 6) All the tourists stop to take a look at this historical monument. 7) In our school we have a wonderful history teacher. 8) My friend loves historical films and never miss a new film. 9) 1945 was a historic year for our country. 10) Let's take a look at these events in their historical context. 11) I really like the lessons of history, in my opinion, it is one of the most interesting lessons.

1. What will you be doing at about 9 o'clock tonight? I don't know yet. Probably I`ll be watching television.

8. – Whom were you talking to when I met you in the shop? - To my friend. We were doing shopping together.
9 - How can I get to the station? – I`ll take you in my car. I`m going to the station myself.
10. Usually Mary hasn`t made mistakes in her spelling, but yesterday she did the spelling test rather badly. I hope she will learn the new worlds now.
