Mr. Brown was travelling about France. After a long journey he arrived at a Small country place and hurried to a hotel the night before he had missed the through train to that place and had to change trains. So he was glad to have a good opportunity of spending a few pleasant days in a quiet place. It did not take him long to unpack the suit-case and have supper.
