The most unpleasant aspect of English weather is fog and smog. This is extremely bad

in big cities and especially in London.

The fog spreads everywhere, it is in the streets and it creeps into the houses. Cars

move along slowly, but still street accidents are frequent in the fog. People cannot see

each other. They creep along the houses touching them with their hands not to lose their way or not to be run over by a car.

One day, a grandmother told her grandson that she had buried some money when she was young. But because of her bad memory, she forgot where exactly she buried it. She said, "I'm not sure, but it seems to me, that I buried it in the middle of the backyard." So early in the morning, her grandson took a shovel and started digging. Then he heard someone approaching him from behind. It was his friend. He waved at him and in brief told him what he was doing. So his friend helped him dig up the entire yard. Then it was time for lunch and grandmother called them to eat. He said to her: "We dug everywhere but didn't find anything. There's nothing there." And then grandma sighed and said: "Forgive me, children! In short, I wanted to plant vegetables. And to motivate you to finish quickly, I came up with this story about money." Then grandma took out his favorite pie and they all laughed together.
