Below is a collection of strong (and exceptionally strong) response papers from students. All received high grades. They are good examples of insightful thinking and strong writing. I would especially encourage you to notice that most of them don’t have obvious organization; most of them let their ideas develop and wander. Many of the best responses are later in the list. 1) Harry James Potter– the main character of the world-famous series of novels and films. The most famous student of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The only one who managed to survive the killing spell "Avada Kedavra" and defeat the Dark Lord twice.

3) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone " — the first novel in a series of books about the young wizard Harry Potter, written by J. K. Rowling. It tells how Harry learns that he is a wizard, meets close friends and many enemies at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and with the help of his friends stops the attempt to return the evil wizard Lord Voldemort, who killed Harry's parents.
