1. Причастия образуются от глаголов и сохраняют следующие признаки глаголов:

вид, переходность, возвратность, время.

2. В отличие от глаголов причастия не имеют форм будущего времени. Формы настоящего времени есть только у причастий, образованных от глаголов несовершенного вида. Ср.: думать (несовершенный вид) — думающий, думавший; подумать (совершенный вид) — подумавший.

 

3. Причастия имеют следующие признаки прилагательных:

причастия, как и прилагательные, изменяются по числам, родам (в единственном числе) и падежам (в полной форме): бежавший, бежавшая, бежавшее, бежавшие; причастия, как и прилагательные, согласуются с существительным в числе, роде (в единственном числе) и падеже: потерянный дневник, потерянная книга, потерянное время; потерянные часы, потерянного времени; страдательные причастия, как и качественные прилагательные, имеют полную и краткую формы: допитый — допит; потерянный — потерян.
