Эффективность банковской деятельности – необходимое развитие поступательного развития любой национальной экономики, ведь банковские услуги постоянно используют в своей деятельности и домашние хозяйства, и предприятия, и государственные структуры. Нет ни одного экономического субъекта, не потребляющего услуг коммерческих банков. Ассортимент таких услуг достаточно широк, и тем не менее постоянно появляются новые, происходит модификация традиционных банковских продуктов. Вряд ли можно назвать такую отрасль народного хозяйства, в которой не было бы экономических интересов коммерческих банков.
В период перестройки в России считалось, что коммерческие банки – это банки, основной целью которых является получение максимальной прибыли. Данный тезис был продекларирован даже в законе «О банках и банковской деятельности». Однако, дальнейшее развитие банковской системы показало, что в условиях рыночной экономики банки должны не только стремиться к получению максимально возможных доходов, но и минимизировать риски, обеспечить ликвидность, надежность и стабильность функционирования, планировать свою деятельность с учетом интересов всего общества, в том числе участвовать в реализации социально ориентированных проектов и программ, поддерживать свой имидж, развивать филиальную сеть, предоставлять более широкий спектр услуг большему числу клиентов.
На английском:Commercial banks are one of the Central elements of the market system. The efficiency of the banking activity is necessary the development of the progressive development of any national economy, because banking is constantly use in their activities and households, enterprises and government agencies. There is not a single economic entity, not consuming the services of commercial banks. The range of such services is quite wide, and yet always new, there is a modification of traditional banking products. You can hardly call this sector of the economy, in which there would be economic interests of commercial banks.
In the perestroika period in Russia was considered that commercial banks are the banks whose primary purpose is to maximize profits. This thesis was declared the law "On banks and banking activity". However, further development of the banking system showed that in conditions of market economy, the banks should not only strive to obtain the maximum possible income, but also to minimize risks, to provide liquidity, reliability and stability of functioning, plan their activities with regard to the interests of the whole society, including to participate in implementation of socially oriented projects and programs, to maintain its image, to develop branch network, to provide a wider range of services to more customers.
