Alexandr Pushkin was born in Moscow in 1799. His nurse taught him about Russian culture. Pushkin wasn't a good student, but he lowed to read literature in father's library. He wrote first poem at 8 years old, and published first poem at 15.
He often got in trouble with government, because his works were very different. For political reasons, poem Boris Godunov was published after many years he wrote it.
After marrying with Natalya Goncharova in 1831, he continued to write. Many people like poem Eugene Onegin, or poem The Bronze Horseman, or drama The Stone Guest.
When he died, he was only 37. He played a great parn in 'The Golden Age Of Russian Literature'. He is Russia's greatest poet and national pride.
