My favourite TV programme is "The world inside out". It's an educational TV program about travels to different countries of the world. "The World Inside Out" shows non-tourist places of the planet. The author of the project Dmitry Komarov in his reports shows the side of travel that tourists do not see.
Each expedition lasts several months. Usually Dmitry spends 90 to 120 days in the country, but the expedition to Brazil became a record one - it lasted 203 days. The idea to create his own program came to Dmitry Komarov during an independent trip to the northern part of Thailand in 2008. At that time, he was already a fairly experienced traveler who traveled to more than 20 exotic countries. Another important feature of the program is that everything that Dmitry shows, he experiences personally. This enables the viewer to better feel the country and events, imagining himself in the place of the presenter. Dmitry masters new professions, participates in carnivals, holidays, rituals and ceremonies. Talking about the culinary tradition, Dmitry is sure to try all the dishes, even the most terrible for a European. For example, together with the locals of Cambodia, he caught tarantula spiders, fried and ate them, tasted the poisonous puffer fish in Japan and ate insect larvae in the jungle.
I love this show because it helps me develop and learn new things while having fun.
