Hi Zoli! How are you? I'm very well - incredibly well, in fact! Yesterday
was a good day. I was helping my dad in the shop after school
when Lucy, who is a girl from my class, came into the shop.
She's a very confident person and I always feel a bit shy when
she speaks to me. But she was friendly and we chatted for a few
minutes. Then she asked for some washing powder, so I gave her
the washing powder. Then she asked for some toothpaste, so I
gave her some toothpaste. Then one by one she asked for ten
more household items. Finally she said, Actually, I don't want to
buy anything. Do you want to come to the cinema with me
tonight?' She spoke quite quickly, so I didn't hear all the words. I
asked her to repeat. She went a bit red and she wasn't looking at
me, but she repeated her invitation. I was really happy and said,
"Yes, please.' We had a great evening.
Write to me soon!
Carl.

2 - If you went out in cold weather without a coat, you would catch a cold.
3 - If I saw a cheap second-hand car, I would buy it.
4 - If you ate well and exercised regularly, you would live100 years.
5 - You would have had stomach ache if you had eaten too much of that cake.
6 - If it rains this afternoon, I will take my umbrella.
7 - If you did not drive carefully, you would have an accident.
8 - If you study for a higher qualification, you will get a better job next year.
9 - If you sent the letter by first class mail, it would get there the following day.
10 - If the weather is fine, we will go for a picnic.
