My favourite film is "King Kong (2005)". King Kong directed by Peter Jackson, is an action-packed fantasy film. The main stars are Naomi Watts and Andrien Brody. Andy Serkis plays King Kong.
In the 1930s, a group of explorers and film makers go to an unexplored island because they have heard strange stories about it. They find a giant gorilla, King Kong, plus a lot of strange animals like dinosaurs and giant spiders and worms. They capture King Kong with the help of the actress Ann Darow (Naomi Watts) and take him back to New York. However, they don't know the stregth of the eight-metre-tall gorilla.
Although some parts are really exciting, I think the film is too long (187 minutes). Also some scenes, such as running with the dinosaurs, are not very convincing. However, most of the special effects are excellent and the acting is good as well. Naomi Watts is great, although King Kong is the real star the show! The scene with him on top of the Empire State building is amazing!
I really enjoyed King Kong. It's definitely worth seeing. Don't miss it!
