Make up a dialogue( or the very short story) to illustrate one of the proverbs: 1. when one loves his art no service seems too hard. 2. the devil is not so black as he is painted. 3. when in doubt leave it out. 4. art is long, life is short. 5. that's horse of another colour.
- Hi Jason. What's the matter? You look upset.
- It's nothing.
- We are friends, remember? You can tell me.
- Well I was with Richard's friends. And they all expected me to be like my brother. They were disappointed as I can't. I'm not him.
- The devil is not so black as he is painted. Your brother's friends made a big mistake if they didn't give such a good person a chance.
- You're right. I don't need them. Being all by myself is okay for me.
- But you're not alone. You have your family. And me.
- I appreciate that. Seriously. Thanks.
