Module3. Interviews and Instructions
Interview Analysis
You’re crafted the perfect CV, your qualifications and skills are an ideal match with the job description and you’ve got three years of relevant work experience under your belt. There is only one thing standing between you and your new job: the interview. You’re well aware that this is the most crucial part of the process. You know that you need to ‘sell yourself’ and demonstrate to the interviewer that you’ve got what it takes to succeed, but what exactly is it that potential employers are looking for? 1………………………………….. . What they want to see is sets you apart. Here are five characteristics that every candidate needs to show they possess.
1 Strong communication skills
Don’t let your interview become a back and forth exchange of asking and answering questions. Instead, turn it into a conversation. Be articulate and use engaging language, but also look for opportunities to demonstrate your creative and critical thinking skills as well as your ability to influence others. Studies show that successful candidates spend more time speaking in their interviews than unsuccessful ones, so don’t be nervous about turning your interview into a discussion.
2 Interest in position
Do you care about this job? 2 ……………………………………….. . Having researched the role and the company thoroughly before your interview, you should be able to explain precisely why you’re the perfect candidate. Answer the interviewer’s questions with interest and excitement – make sure he or she can feel your passion and drive.
3 Motivation to succeed
“What motivates you?” is one of the most common interview questions – and often the most difficult to answer! 3 ………………………………………… . What does success mean to you? What are your goals? What makes you feel a sense of achievement? Be honest, be specific, and link your answer to the role you’ve applied for. Also, don’t wait for the question to show you’ll do whatever it takes to succeed – your level of motivation will be clear if you speak with enthusiasm throughout your interview.
4 Poise
Your smart suit isn’t the only thing your interviewer will consider with regards to your presentation. 4 ………………………………………………… . Remember to take deep breaths before you go into the interview room, speak slowly and don’t fidget or make excessive hand gestures. Maintain eye contact with your interviewer and smile.
5 Insight
Potential employers are looking for the best candidates, so it’s imperative to show that you can easily grasp concepts and ideas. Focus on what your interviewer is saying and engage with them. 5 …………………………………………………… . Asking questions has a double benefit in interviews: it helps you learn more about the company and the role, and demonstrates to the interviewer that you are interested and curious.

Trafalgar SquareThis is one of the nerve-centres of London. It was named Trafalgar Square to commemorate the historical naval victory won on the 21st of October 1805 by the British fleet under the command of Horatio Nelson over the combined French-Spanish fleet commanded by Villeneuve. The battle took place at Cape Trafalgar in the mouth of the Straits of Gibraltar and lasted several hours.  Nelson was fatally wounded by a shot which broke his backbone. He died on board his flagship the Victory, but not before being told that he had won the battle.Nelson's Column, with the statue of Admiral Lord Nelson on top, rises in the centre of Trafalgar Square. This most impressive monument is 170 feet (about 52 m) tall. The statue of Nelson, placed facing towards the sea he loved, measures 17 feet (more than 5 m) in height. To the north-east of Trafalgar Square there is the building that houses the National Gallery of Art - one of the most important Art Galleries in the world - and behind is the National Portrait Gallery.Quite often the square becomes the location for meetings and in it crowds of Londoners congregate to celebrate political rallies. So it can be said that Trafalgar Square is the heart from which the beat is emitted to all the Londoners. There are many pigeons in the square and Londoners like to feed them. Everybody knows that the dove is the symbol of peace all over the world.
