ответьте на вопросы по тексту : what acts govern sale of goods and services in the uk? what are the basic terms of sale? the sale of goods act 1979 and the supply of goods and services act 1982 lay dawn fundamental terms about the sale of goods and contracts for the supply of goods and services which all businesses contracts must comply with. they are as follows : -the seller must have title -goods/services must be of merchantable quality -goods/services must be fit for a particular purpose -goods/services must be described-there must be no misrepresentations at commom law suppliers of services, e.g. plumbers, builders, repairers, etc., have a duty to exercise reasonable care and skill in carrying out their jobs. professionals e.g. solicitors have to exercise the degree of care which is to be expected of a professional man of ordinary competence and experience. these common law duties have now been clarified and enhanced by the 1982 act. the 1982 act implies in each contract, under which a person agrees to carry out the service, that the supplier will carry out the service with reasonable care and skill.it must be noted, however, that this applies only where the services are provided as part of a business, but does not apply to services given free, nor to advocates in connection with their apprearances in court, company directors of building societies. the main standard terms and conditions of a contract are as follows -"names of the parties to the contract "-subject of the contract -priceterms of delivery time of delivery terms of payment, including time of payment, currency in which payment is to be made, etc. risk end property -warranties - arbitration - termination - governing lawthe contract is to stipulate which legal system is to regulate any dispute.this is very important as otherwise large sums can be spent just deciding which legal system applies

1) The picture shows a street of terraced houses in a city. I don't know where it is exactly. Perhaps it is in Germany, but it is probably in Britain orIreland somewhere. The houses are quite small and they haven't got front gardens. But some houses look very colorful.
2) Oh, and there is someone washing his car in the background. -
3) It is not a very beautiful street, but the atmosphere seems very friendly and relaxed. -
4)  The houses are quite small and they haven't got front gardens. But some houses look very colorful. In the foreground there are some young kids who are playing football in the street. And there are two old men on the right who are chatting to each other in front of one of the houses. Perhaps they are gossiping about the neighborhoods. Oh, and there is someone washing his car in the background. It is not a very beautiful street, but the atmosphere seems very friendly and relaxed.
Why? I think the author would show us that not only external beauty plays an important and "beautiful" role in life, but also internally.

Chapter One

The Boy Who Lived

The chapter starts with description of the Dursley family, who are proud to be "perfectly normal". We learn that Mrs Dursley has a sister, Mrs Potter, but their families haven't met for several years. Both families have sons.

Then the story begins on a "dull, grey Tuesday". Mr Dursley notices a lot of strange things hapenning - owls flying in town, people in cloaks, a strange cat sitting on the wall of his garden, unusual news on TV. The Dursleys go to bed wondering what it all could mean. At night, a tall, thin and very old man appears near their house. It's Albus Dumbledore. The cat turns out to be Professor McGonagall, and the two are professors from Hogwarts, a school of witchcraft and wizardry. Then comes Hagrid, a giant, who brings little Harry Potter. Harry's parents were killed by Lord Voldermort, a dark wizard, but Harry survived and Voldermort's power "somehow broke" .

So little Harry is left asleep on the doorstep of the Dursley's house with a letter written by Dumbledore. The professors and Hagrid go to join the celebrations.
