Why are social networks popular?
Nowadays a lot of people are used to spending their time on social networks, and some are even addicted to them. There are several reasons for such popularity.
Firstly, social networks provide us an opportunity for self-expression. In order to feel confident and comfortable each of us needs approval that enhances our self-esteem. On social networks, you can reveal your talent or show creativity by posting your work. Even if you do not get positive feedback, you will still experience positive feelings and emotions.
Secondly, social networks mean an opportunity to demonstrate and explain your opinion on a particular issue. When someone posts their comment on a famous person's web-page, it is like joining that person's fame and feeling significant.
Thirdly, social networks can be a good source od information helping people to satisfy their need for knowledge.
Finally, social networks help people to find a job.
So as we see, social networks bring great benefits helping people to solve problems and have fun.
