Last year I went to Paris. I went there with my parents by train from Moscow. It took us about 40 hours to get to Paris. We went there to see its historical sites and famous landmarks, such as the Champs Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower. We also took a boat tour on the Seine and then spent some time on shopping. It was a great journey! Those five days were fantastic.

There are many reasons why everyone should learn a foreign language.Firstly, learning a language of another country helps one understand its culture. Language becomes a peephole to look at the nation’s culture, its traditions and its history. Italian film director Federico Fellini says, "A different language is a different vision of life". Research has shown that having studied a foreign language one can understand one’s own language better. It deepens the understanding of one’s own culture. General language skills improve after studying foreign languages.Another thing that talks of the importance of foreign language study is touring to foreign countries. Eventually, knowing a foreign language opens new job and employment opportunities in many countries and markets and it's grate!
