Doing my bit for charity!
Hi, everyone, welcome back. Today, I’m going to tell you about what my school did to raise money for the charity WWF on Saturday.
My school has raised money for charity successfully lots of times. One year, we had a concert and the money from the tickets helped build a school in Africa. Another time, we had a Market Day where we sold things to raise money. This year, the school decided to do something we’ve never done before – we had a hot-dog-eating marathon!
Students had to eat lots and lots of hot dogs, and they had to eat them fast! I had a plan. I ate the hot dogs slowly at first, but then, after two or three, I ate really fast. Some of the students did well, but I won the marathon easily. I ate eight hot dogs in five minutes and raised over fifty euros for charity! I didn’t do badly, did I? have you ever raised money for charity? Leave a comment below.
