One day, when the weather was bad, their boat hit some rough water and Sophie Tucker fell overboard. Jan and Dave turned the boat around immediately and searched the area for their pet. , after looking for more than an hour, they stopped their search. They thought that Sophie Tucker was dead. However, Sophie Tucker’s story did not end there. , the brave four-year-old swam five miles through shark-infested water and 4 e landed on a remote island., she taught herself to hunt goats so that she had food to keep herself alive. In the end, more than four months later, rangers on the island saw the dog and caught her. At first, they thought she was a wild dog, but then they heard the Griffiths’ amazing story. Soon , the rangers brought Sophie Tucker to the Australian mainland. Her reunion with Jan and Dave was very emotional. , Sophie Tucker enjoys a very comfortable life back at the Griffiths’ home. And has she eaten goat? No, she certainly hasn’t!

pretty river with grass and trees all along its banks,
runs through Stratford. Not much is known of Shakespeare's father. He was a farmer who, at different times of his life, sold meat and bought and sold
wool. He was poor and was often in money difficulties.
Very little is known about the life of his only son William
also the little house in which the great writer was born
still stands. It is now a museum. William went to
school in Stratford. In 1586 he went to London.
Probably the first work he did there was at one of the two
theatres that there were in London at that time. Then
he became an actor and soon began to write plays for the
company of actors to which he belonged. Shakespeare
bought the largest house in his home town in 1597, but
he did not spend much time there till 1610. He spent the
last years of his life in it.
