An educated person is one who knows a lot about many things. I think it is very important that everyone should be educated. Each pupil ought to do his best to become a useful member of our society. Going on educational excursions gives us opportunities to acquire some scientific knowledge.
The more we study, the more we know. The more we know, the more we forget. The more we forget, the less we know. The less we know, the less we forget, the more we know. So why study?
Education is very important in our life. An educated person is one who knows a lot about many things. He always tries to learn, find out, discover more about the world around him. He get knowledge at school, from books, magazines, from TV educational programs. But the road to learning is not easy. To be successful in studies one must work hard.
Nowadays the students of secondary schools have opportunities to continue their education in gymnasiums, lyceums, colleges.
Not only school makes us educated persons. Reading books and press is also very important. TV also gives us wonderful and effective possibilities for education. Due to mass media we become better informed by watching documentaries, science programs and discussions.
Besides regular schools there are a lot of clubs, where children get education and good habits. Art clubs, Drama and history clubs and groups, studying foreign languages, are among them.
Educational excursions can be also useful in developing the pupil’s intellect. Nature hikes help to explore the world around us.
To my mind if we want to be successful in our studies we must have the number of positive qualities of character. First of all we have to be attentive at the lessons. To make progress in all subjects we should be hard-working persons.
I think that all people should be educated, because it is very useful and important. Educated persons are always ready to find a good job, they usually have a bright career. Besides, it is also much better to talk to educated, cultured and extraordinary person.
The role of foreign languages is also increasing today. Thanks to the knowledge of foreign languages one can read books, magazines in the original, talk to foreigners, translate various articles. As for me, I’m sure that to know a foreign language is absolutely necessary for all educated person and modern specialists.
English is a world language. Knowing English can help us to find a good job. It’s the dominant language of medicine, electronics and space technology, of international business and advertising, of radio.

In 1869 the great Russian scientist Dmitri Mendeleyev announced the discovery of the Periodic Law of elements. So science received the key to the secrets of matter.
All the greatest discoveries which have been made since then in the fields of chemistry and physics have been based on this law.
The elements in Mendeleyevs Periodic Table follow one another in the order of their atomic weights. They are arranged in periods and groups.
Mendeleyev s discovery made it possible for the scientists to find 38 new chemical elements to fill the empty spaces left in the Periodic Table.
At the same time they tried to find elements heavier than the last element in the Periodic Table.
In 1955 the American scientist Dr. Glenn Seabord obtained element No 101 and named it Mendelevium in honour of the creator of the Periodic Law.
