The Unfortunate Tandem

It happened while Mr Harris and his wife sitting on the tandem behind him (0) __were cycling__ (to cycle) through Holland. As the roads (1) _were stony, Harris asked his wife to sit tight. Nature gives us everything necessary for its existence. But, often we don't appreciate these gifts, without hesitation, plucked flowers and branches, without giving anything in return. We think that this is trivial, it will grow new ones. Turning around, it's hard not to notice how all the same beautiful nature. We just need to learn to appreciate her!

Природа дает человеку все необходимое для его существования. Но, часто мы не ценим эти дары, не задумываясь, срываем цветы и ветки на деревьях, не давая ничего взамен. Нам кажется, что это мелочь, ведь вырастут новые. Обернувшись по сторонам, сложно не заметить - как же все таки прекрасна природа. Нам нужно лишь научиться ценить её!
