Problems with textbooks exist in every country. In Saudi Arabia, it is too nationalistic mood on the pages of textbooks. These installations are so strong that cause concern(может лучше problems вместо concern) with the USA. In Hong Kong there is another problem. The Chinese Government wanted to introduce a new curriculum "national education". They wanted to delete the negative aspects of history of the country. Social movement prevented them to perform it. Also, textbooks of Japan underwent to criticism. In France there is a problem of economic education. In America there is a set of problems: sexual education, origin of the universe, religion, political views.
As long as textbooks in one form or another are used, and as long as they are issued or approved by the state, they will remain a political issue. But as access to other texts is enjoyed more widely, some of the dominance they now enjoy will wane.
