the final test of a criminal investigation is in the presentation of the evi¬dence in court. the fact of the existence of the crime must be established; the defendant must be identified and associated with crime scene; competent and credible witnesses must be available; the physical evidence must be appropri¬ately identified, its connection with the case shown; and the whole must be presented in an orderly and logical fashion.

a great part of investigative work is devoted to "finding" missing or wanted persons. the solving of a case frequently depends upon locating the perpetrator. the proper presentation of a case in court involves the discovery and identification of witnesses. the search for a person is fre¬quently a simple matter of a few telephone calls or a visit to a house. at other times, however, the hunt (поиски) can become a lengthy and com¬plicated ordeal.

We have fine teams at our school and different kinds of competitions take place there. The boys of my school are crazy about football, they play football and the girls are football fans. The girls never miss a single match played by school teams.
In winter our physical training lessons are held out-of-doors. We go skiing or skating. When it is cold outside P.T. lessons are held indoors, in our school gymnasium. We play different team-games such as basket-ball or volley-ball. Besides we have some training in gymnastics.
In autumn and in spring, when the weather is warm we have P.T. lessons at our school stadium. My school has a sports day once a year in late spring. On this day we have no lessons.

Are my habits healthy? That's a good question. There are habits in every person's life. Some of them disappear with time, others can stay for a long time - even for the rest of our lives! I had different habits as a kid. At that time, I occasionally snipped my nose. It annoyed my parents terribly. They didn't know what to do with it. Naturally, it didn't look healthy.
When I grew up, that habit disappeared by itself. I suppose it was influenced by the growing up period. When I got older, I had a habit of biting my lip when I was really nervous. It was noticeable in public, but uncritical. After a while, that habit disappeared too, and I didn't have any more habits. I don't have any bad habits either. I don't drink or smoke, I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
I believe that bad habits are evil, because most of them, one way or another, cause irreparable damage to health, cause diseases. Maintain a healthy lifestyle, and try not to have bad habits in your life. It is better to have a few good habits that may come in handy at home than those that cause suffering.
