Moscow Conservatory

The Moscow Conservatory was opened in 1866.  This was four years A after  the first conservatory in  Russia had been opened in St. Petersburg. It was  founded by Nikolai Rubinstein, the younger brother  of Anton Rubinstein, the founder of St. Petersburg  Conservatory. Both brothers were famous Russian  pianists, composers and conductors. At first, the  Moscow Conservatory did not have a building of its  B own,  but in 1878 a big building in Bolshaya  Nikitskaya was bought and C later reconstructed. In  1901 the reconstruction work was finished by the  opening of the Big Hall of the Moscow Conservatory  which to this day remains the best concert hall  in Moscow. The Moscow Conservatory today offers  university-level degrees in music. It is D still located  in the same building, in the very centre of Moscow,  15 minutes E away from the Kremlin.

The man greeted Aesop and asked him how long it would take him to get to the town
Aesop said to go
He said he knew that he had to go and repeated his question, but Aesop's reply was the same. He said again very politely" to go" .he decided that the man was mad. After the traveler had gone some distance, Aesop had shouted after him that he would get to the town in two hours. The traveler had come back to Aesop and asked why he hadn't told him that before. Aesop replied that he hadn't told him because he hadn't known how fast he could have walked
