A few months later, I went to London and decided that the book really should be returned to its owner. I went to the library and gave it to the librarian, who looked very worried. Uncle Albert had borrowed the book in 1923 and according to their records there was a 4000 as a fine! That was the same amount my uncle had left me! Fortunately, they said the huge fine would be canceled now that I had returned the book. I felt so relieved!
