В предложениях не всегда есть подсказки (временные выражение). Подсказкой может являться сама ситуация — КОНТЕКСТ. Попробуйте представить, происходит ли данное действие в настоящем времени (вы как бы видите эту картинку) — Present Continuous или действие повторяется изо дня в день — Present Simple.
