Hello, dear guests and teacher! My favorite magazine National Geography. It is very informative and interesting. I learn a lot of new! I like traveling very much, and this magazine about travel and different countries. Most of all I like Thailand. In the last issue of the magazine, I learned a lot about this country. For example, the fact that the inhabitants of the state, very friendly, value their history and traditions. This is a very ancient country, a variety of temples, architecture, exotic pets. Here with love meet tourists and organize different excursions. I especially like the symbol of their country - the golden dragon.. Still I would like to go to the Philippines and the Crimea, looking forward to the release of the next issue. Thank You!
1. Everybody knows that the world rainforests are disappearing.
2. Although rainforests cover only six per cent of the Earth's land surface, they contain about 50% of all species of life on the planet.
3. They also remove carbon dioxide(CO2) from the air and produce oxygen (O2).
4. As they are important why are they vanishing?
5. Most scientists agree that there are two main reasons.
6. First of all, the way of life in these forests is changing.
7. In some forests, big companies are cutting down more and more trees, deforesting and causing damage to the land.
8. In other places, another kind of deforestation is happening.
9. Here farmers are burning more and more of the forest and using the land to feed cattle.
10. Now that governments understand the problem, they are beginning to control these activities.
