1) Russia is a democratic federal law state with a republican form of government.2) Since 1991 the Russian political system has undergone radical changes. Before 1991, the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) was part of the USSR as one of the Union republics. During the Soviet period the political system of the USSR and RSFSR was totalitarian (up to 1956) and authoritarian (as according to Art. 6 of the Constitution of the USSR and RSFSR, the leading and guiding force of Soviet society and the nucleus of its political system, state and public organizations is the Communist Party of the Soviet Union ). This meant that a political institution (CPSU) dominated over all other. With the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Communist Party in 1991, a new period in the development of Russia's political system: establishes the institution of the presidency, elected by Parliament, there are political parties and other civil society institutions. In 1993, the political crisis began in the country. President of the Russian Opposition and Parliament have led to bloody clashes in Moscow and shot the White House (October 1993), which at the time met the Parliament. The conflict between the legislative and executive powers has been resolved in favor of the latter. The adoption of the Constitution by nationwide referendum 12 December 1993 contributed to the creation of the legal framework for a new stage of reforming the political system of the Russian society.3) A lot of people are interested in politics, but did not take part in it. They do not believe that you can change something in the political life of the country.4) The Russian government is always interested in what ordinary people want, and if possible try to develop legislation aimed at meeting the needs of the population and to improve social life
