And not at all because this film tells about the great catastrophe of the twentieth century, which took the lives of many people. And because the story of the wreck of the famous "unsinkable" liner is presented here in an extraordinarily beautiful and artistic way.In the center of the plot is a tragic love story between a simple young man Jack and a wealthy aristocrat Rose. And this is what adds to the picture sharpness and psychologism. Here we see social inequality, the barriers it creates in the path of great feeling and how successfully the heroes overcome all these obstacles.But even love is powerless before the cruel will of fate. The crash of the Titanic takes Jack's life, it makes the catastrophe a personal tragedy for the characters and makes the audience doubly worried. Not only for all the people who died on the ship, but also for poor Rose, who lost her lover that day.In my opinion, the decision to show the world tragedy through the prism of personal relationships and to do it exactly like Cameron's was a genius. And the brilliance of the film was added by the amazing performance of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Celine Dion's wonderful soundtrack for this film still rings in my head.
