Есть список неправильных глаголов. V2 и V3 формы нужно просто выучить. Как и какие глаголы неправильные. Какой-то формулы нет.

Для остальных глаголов, добавляется -ed окончание.

Вторая форма глагола используется в Past Simple Tense.

V3- past participle используется для образования Perfect Tense, пассивного залога и много ещё грамматики, где ее используют.

Ну а первая форма- базовый глагол, от которого отталкивается формирование его разных форм. Мы используем V1 в Simple Present tense- I work every day.
