Глагол can - модальный. При построении отрицательного предложения он не требует для себя вс глагола do, а просто сам ставится в отрицательную форму путем прибавления частицы not."can't" При построении отрицательного предложения со смысловым глаголом want по правилам английского языка необходим вс глагол do, который ставится в отрицательную форму путем прибавления частицы not и записывается перед смысловым глаголом want "don't want"
