Description of flag: The flag of Russia is a three coloured flag consisting of three equal horizontal fields:
white on the top,
blue in the middle and
red on the bottom.
The flag is the country’s main symbol as well as the anthem and coat of arms.
In 1994 the National Flag Day was established in Russia. It is celebrated
on 22 August, but people work on this day.
Though there is no distinctive meaning for the colours of the flag some believe white stands for peace and generosity, blue standing for truth, loyalty and wisdom and red standing for strength, courage and love.
Through the years the flag had been changed, removed and brought back again until on August 21, 1991, when the original design from Peter the Great was re-adopted officially in December 1991.

A friend in need is a friend indeed – we all know this saying and I believe this is true. Friends play a very important role in our lives. When we feel sad they entertain us, when we are lonely they make a company for us. So who can we call a good friend?
For me a good friend should be honest, loyal and understanding. It’s very important that you can trust another person. Friends are usually close to each other and spend a lot of time together,they share their ideas and secrets and that’s why it’s necessary to be honest. You must be sure that your secret will not be revealed to anyone else.
I also believe that a friend should be loyal. A good friend doesn’t take the side of your enemy or doesn’t take sides at all.
loyal friend will never stop being your friend just because you don’t think the way he or she thinks. For a real friend it’s absolutely not important how rich you are.
One of the most important things in a good friend for me is being supportive. A good friend is always beside you when you feel bad, lonely or upset.He is always ready to talk to you, to give you advice and support you. He also needs to know how to listen.
Moreover, it’s always nice when a friend understands you, when you are sure he won’t laugh at you in any situation. A friend should be your partner in life. He should share your emotions, share your success and failures and be near you if needed.
