on the 9th of may people of many countries celebrate victory day. it is a great holiday. in the streets of towns, in the shop windows and on the front of large buildings you can see flags and decorations. on victory day you can see a military parade on tv. there are usually meetings and processions of the veterans of great patriotic war. there are many people in the streets and squares of towns on that day. they thank the veterans and give them flowers. many people go to the centre of the city to see the holiday concert and the firework in the evening. some people stay at home and see interesting films about the great patriotic war on tv.
