I love cricket! By Joe In the summer I love playing sports outside with my friends and family. I like playing football, tennis and badminton, but my favourite sport is cricket.
When the weather is good we watch cricket matches at Lord’s cricket ground. I go to the children’s lessons there every Wednesday and the teachers say I am very good. I’ve got my own helmet, bat and clothes so I can practise at home. I want to play for England and it is very important that I practise every day!
I love cricket because it is a fun and relaxing sport and I can spend the whole day outside in the sun!
Rugby is the best! By Sam
I like cricket but it’s very slow and you need lots of equipment. Rugby is my favourite sport because it’s fast and exciting and all you need is a ball and a field!
On the weekends my dad teaches me rugby on the school field, even if it’s raining. Rugby is fun in all weathers! However, it is a difficult sport and being fit is very important, so I go cycling and running all the time.
Whenever we have time, my friends and I go to watch rugby matches at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

I strongly believe that advertizing junk and unhealthy food should be prohibited. Doctors say that junk food leads to obesity and serious diseases. Children like it because it looks nice and smells nice. But they are not aware of the danger.
Some people may think that such a ban on junk food advertisement is a violation of rights. It also poses danger to freedom of speech and mass media, they may think.
But I consider that our nation's health is more important. So we must do all we can to teach people to choose healthy food for themselves and their children. Results of scientific research in this field should be made public. So the people will finally make the right choice!
