Last summer some of my classmates and I travelled to England.
Our trip took place in June. Our teacher went with us. We stayed in a booked hotel in London. My classmates were noisy and full of energy.
The following day we had a nice breakfast at a cafe, where we had nice food and coffee. Then we went on an excursion around the city. This is really a great city with its old cathedrals, churches, palaces and museums.
The next days of our trip were also full of excursions. Most of all we enjoyed going on а river trip down the Thames. The weather was fine! No wind, no clouds in the sky! We saw the Houses of Parliament along the north bank of the Thames. The clock tower of the Houses of Parliament is famous for its big hour bell known as «Big Ben». We saw the Tower of London near Tower Bridge.
We also visited the British Museum and Buckingham Palace where the Queen lives. We were lucky with the weather again. It was not raining, and we made a ride on the London Eye wheel and went to Trafalgar Square where a tall Nelson's column stands. All of us enjoyed doing the sights very much. We took a lot of pics there.
In conclusion, though we were tired every evening but still we were full of enthusiasm. We returned home full of splendid impressions from our unforgettable trip.

Затем мы отправились на экскурсию по городу. Это действительно очень большой город со старинными соборами, церквями, дворцами и музеями.
Следующие несколько дней тоже были полны экскурсий. Больше всего мы наслаждались поездкой по реке вниз по Темзе. Погода была прекрасная! Ни ветра, ни облаков в небе! Мы увидели здание парламента на северном берегу Темзы. Часовая башня здания парламента славится своим большим часовым колоколом, известным как 'Биг Бен'. Мы видели Лондонский Тауэр возле Тауэрского моста.
Также мы посетили Британский музей и Букингемский дворец, где живет Королева. Нам снова повезло с погодой. Дождя не было, мы катaлись на колесе "Лондонское Око" и гуляли по Трафальгарской площади, где стоит высокая колонна Нельсона. Всем нам очень понравились эти достопримечательности. Мы там много фотографировались.
В заключение, мы уставали каждый вечер, но были полны энтузиазма. Мы вернулись домой полные ярких впечатлений от нашей незабываемой поездки.
In 1918 was founded the pedagogical (teaching) Institute in Ivanovo-Voznesensk. Organization of the Institute was entrusted to the Professor of Moscow state University Sergey Nikolaevich Bogolyubsky , who became its first rector (S. N. Bogolyubskii - biologist , author of several scientific papers on morphology ,comparative anatomy , embryology, vertebrate animals. At the pedagogical Institute, he worked for 4 years.) Classes at the Institute began in January 1919, at three faculties : the socio-historical , natural and physico-mathematical. Studies have begun to about 50 people. The course was a four-year. In 1923 was the first and last for this period, the graduation of students. June 12, 1923 by the decision of the CPC, the Institute was closed. 23 Aug 1932 pedagogical Institute was re-opened . Initially, the Institute was established 4 branches - historical, economic , mathematical, and physical . At the same time with a day office in 1932 opened the reception at the evening Department. 29 December 1973 on the basis of the pedagogical Institute was opened in Ivanovo state University. The first rector was Professor V. N. Latyshev .Now the University's 9 faculties . It was opened 4 new faculty : biology and chemistry , Economics , law and faculty training. The University is preparing in 11 specialties.
