Метаналь(или муравьиный альдегид) - это газ ядовитый с очень резким запахом, раствор в воде его называют - формалином. Этаналь - это жидкость(уксусный альдегид), с резким запахом,специфическим. Альдегиды распознать можно путем реакции серебряного зеркала. Альдегид + аммиачный раствор оксида серебра, подогреть, в процессе реакции выделяется чистое серебро. С ацетиленом реакция происходить не будет, это бесцветный газ, в чистом виде почти без запаха. Т.к. это алкины - имеет свойство присоединения.
